SDS Hammer Bits

Drilling concrete, brick or block is brutal on a bit — the carbide tip takes the impact, the flutes clear the dust, and a cheap bit fails at both. DMTools SDS-Plus hammer bits use a hardened carbide head brazed to a full-length steel body, with deep helix flutes that pull masonry dust out of the hole so the tip stays cool and keeps biting instead of overheating and glazing. The SDS-Plus shank locks into your rotary hammer for true hammer action — no slipping like a round-shank bit in a regular chuck. Sizing matters more here than anywhere. For wedge and sleeve anchors, match the bit diameter to the anchor (a 1/2" anchor needs a 1/2" bit); for Tapcons and other screw anchors, drop a size as the manufacturer specifies. We stock the common diameters from 3/16" up through 1", in working lengths from stubby anchor bits to extended bits for drilling all the way through a foundation wall. Not sure what you need? Tell us the anchor and we'll match the bit. These are pickup-and-go consumables for masons, framers, electricians and anyone setting anchors into concrete — bought at fair, everyday pricing instead of the marked-up blister packs at the big-box checkout. Buy the single size the job calls for or stock a full set so you're never stalled mid-pour. Order online and collect in Hamilton at 1565 Barton St E on Fridays and Sundays, 10–5, or have your bits shipped Canada-wide. Pickup is free; shipping is calculated fairly by weight and destination.
