Saw Blades

The blade does the work — the saw just spins it. A sharp, properly toothed carbide blade cuts faster, cleaner and safer than a dull or wrong-count one, and it puts less strain on your saw and your arms. DMTools circular saw blades run carbide teeth on a tensioned steel plate, balanced to cut straight without wobble or burn. We stock the everyday 7-1/4" sizes plus the diameters for worm-drive and table saws. Tooth count is the choice that matters. A 24-tooth framing blade rips through dimensional lumber fast and clears chips aggressively — the blade to leave on the jobsite saw. A 40–60 tooth finish blade leaves a smooth, tear-out-free edge for trim, plywood and melamine. Metal-cutting blades use a different tooth geometry and carbide grade to shear steel studs, conduit and sheet without throwing the colored sparks an abrasive wheel does — cleaner cuts, cooler stock, no burr-up. Whatever you're cutting, you're paying for the steel and carbide, not the brand name on the label. Buy a single framing blade or a multi-pack, match the tooth count to the material, and keep a sharp one in reserve so you're never forcing a dull blade through a cut. Pick up in Hamilton at 1565 Barton St E on Fridays and Sundays, 10–5, or ship Canada-wide — pickup is always free.
